Inflammatory Bowel Disease

The IBD (Inflammatory Bowel Disease) program at the Redus Center for Digestive Health is focused on diagnosing, managing, and treating chronic inflammatory conditions of the gastrointestinal (GI) tract, primarily Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. Our IBD program provide comprehensive care, including:

• Diagnosis: Endoscopy, colonoscopy, imaging, and biomarkers to differentiate IBD from other GI disorders.
• Medical Management: Immunosuppressants, biologics, and other advanced therapies.
• Surgical Interventions: Co-managing surgical options like bowel resection or colectomy for severe cases.
• Nutrition & Lifestyle Guidance: Advising on diet, probiotics, and lifestyle modifications to reduce flare-ups.
• Multidisciplinary Care: Working in a multidisciplinary fashion with surgeons, gastroenterologists, dietitians, and mental health professionals to manage the disease holistically.
